Explorer Coords was updated for 3.3 and also i added 3 new addon just take a look at the addon section :)

New name and little design change

From now on the site is reachable with wowuse.com instead of wow-tools.org, together with that there was a little design change, if you see weird stuff try todo a ctrl+r or delete your cache.

Talent Calculator and Arena Calculator updated

Talent Calculator for 3.3.0 is now live, additionally i updated the Arena Calculator to reflect the changes from some time ago, that you get always x points under 1500 rating.

Talent Calculator updated to 3.2.2

Site updated for version 3.2

Talent Calculator 3.2 is now live.

Additionally I changed the Javascript framework which was used on the site, that was quite alot of changing and due the patch came earlier as I exptected I didnt have enough time to test it fully, so if you encounter any problems please report them.

Also you can format now the text of the Talent Build descriptions.

Armory import working again

For like 3 weeks the armory import wasn't working due Blizzard changed something in their xml structure.
It was always coming "Couldnt retrieve any data for this character"

If such an error messages keep coming all the time, it would be really helpfull to use the contact formular to tell me so i can fix it.

PTR Talent Calculator version 0.2.0.10026 for upcoming version 3.2 online

The new PTR Talent Calculator is now online.

Due changes in the spell database structure there might me errors in the tooltip data, if you find any please report them.
I did alot of sample checks and it seems, but after all i am only a human and could oversaw something ;)

Talent Calculator Archive online

I finally managed to bring the Talent Calculator Archive online, you can use now the old 3.0.3 and 3.0.9 versions again.
Due this i re-enabled the old Talent Builds for public viewing.

New feature "Abbreviation lexicon" is out

There are alot of abbreviation out in WoW and often i am wondering myself what something means, because its way too much to know them all and it is mostly annoying to figure it out.

So I am releasing now the Abbreviation lexicon to look them up easy.

At the moment there aren't much abbreviations in it, i hope for your help to get it more complete over time.

Explorer Coords updated

Explorer Coords updated to work with version 3.1 and german language support added.

Armory Importer reenabled

You can now import again Talent Builds from the armory, due a complete rewrite of it all the old cached data was deleted.

Standard you will see the first spec, if a second one exist it will be chooseable from a list.

Update: The icons are now back in the old quality too.

Talent Calculator updated to 3.1

The Talent Calculator was updated to the newest version.
There are currently some limitations/bugs:

• -armory import is currently offline due the change on the armory with dual specs
• -all 3.0 builds are currently hidden in the public viewing but they are still included in the number statistics
• -the icons got at the moment white points at the borders

PTR Talent Caluclator updated to current version

PTR Talent Caluclator now online

There was some rewriting needed to bring it online, if you encounter any errors or problems please report them.

Due PTR versions can change fast and bring lot of changes there is no options to save builds.

Talent Build Importer Cache changed

Today the cache was changed, instead of overwriting the old cached data, it will now make a new entry when the Talent Build was changed.
And if you request the Talent Build from someone and there are different Talent Builds in the cache it shows you a select box to view those too.

Attention: Currently other Talent Build versions are only inserted, if you request manually a Talent Build and it was changed.
Maybe in the future you will be allowed to scan for char updates automatic.

P.S. The time before the data is refreshed from Armor is still 24 hours.

Talent Calculator updated to 3.0.9 and some minor changes

Sorry for the late update, but i was quite busy the last time and didnt have the time to update the calculator till today.

Together with the updates there was these minor changes:

• - The Talent Builds overview got now a page navigation to easy switch back to the class overview
• - Talent Builds now got a link to open it in the Calculator for changing other Builds to fit your needs
• - As an registered user you can now activate to get notify by mail if someone comment your Builds or if someone write a comment in a other Build you left an comment in
  You can activate it in your Settings

Talent Calculator updated for 3.0.8

Recording of Leveling Builds now possible

Today i added a new feature to the Talent Calculator, which allows to record a Level Build.

It is currently very basic, there are plans to add more features to it, if you got any ideas what to add or how to change the look etc, please use the feedback formuar.

New feature added to the Talent Calculator

From now on you can use the new Freelancer mode to make your Talent Builds, it disable the extended checks of the calculator, so you have more freedom how to make your builds.

Talent Calulcator updated to version 3.0.3

New Addon added

Explorer Coords is now available.

It helps you with the Exploring Achievement, it shows all coords left to discover on the Worldmap.

SetTalents Update

The addon got updated to match the current WoW version so it will load without checking load out of date addons.

Levelcap raised to 80 and Death Knight added

Normally it was planned to only do the changes when WotLK goes lives, but due several requests for it, i decided to activate it already.

Talent Calculator updated

Earlier then thought the talent calculator is now updated to work with patch 3.0.

There could be minor errors in it specially in the talent description, if you find one dont hesiate to contact me.

Actually we are still working on the update for the talent calculator it should be done by the end of the weekend.

When it goes live all current talent builds will be deleted due the big changes in the talent trees.

Today we added chinese as a third language choice to our site.

Additionally we added all armories for querying talent builds and you can save now server and armory choice for faster and easier use.

Talent Calculator update

Today a bit late the Talent Calculator was updated to version 2.4.

P.S. The mailserver wasnt working properly from sunday night till today and didnt deliver any emails, so if you registered in that time, please recheck your emails.

Armory data now cached

Imports to the talent calculator via the Armory is now cached and will be only renewed after 24 hours for same requests.
Additionally if the Armory isnt reachable there will be showed the last cached version, if available.

Enconding change

We changed today our encoding to UTF-8, if you encounter any problems dont hesiate to use our feedback form to tell us.

Talent Calculator update

Today we launched an overworked version of the Talent Calculator, if it isnt cached the loading time is now multiple times faster.

Edit:
There was always some "lag" when clicking the talents really fast this is fixed now too.
Additionally you can use now also "Ctrl+leftclick" or "rightclick" to unlearn talentpoints.

New feature save your talentbuilds

You can now save your talentbuilds made with our calculator, you can keep them private or make then public.
Public talenttemplates can be commented by other and will be showed under Talenttemplates.

Talent Calculator - Bug fixed

After an internal update yesterday the Talent Caluclator didnt work anymore for Shamans and Paladins, this bug was fixed.

Special features:

• Validation of Talentbuilds opened over link.

Official start of WoW - Tools

Today our site official started, the first tool we offer is an Arena Calculator:

• Convert arena rating to points.
• Convert points from the different teamsizes to rating.
• Calculate which average rating you need to get the points you want in a certain time.
• Calculate how long you need with your average rating to get the points you want.

More tools will follow soon.
